Goodness gracious… I’ve been going 100 miles an hour for the past several days, and I’d like to relay the events to you in a few posts because I have so many wonderful things to share.
When I last left you, I was about to enter an extremely busy/stressful/exciting week, beginning with the Paul McCartney concert at Dodgers Stadium on the 10th. Ho. Ly. Crap, guys.
This was such an amazing concert – the man is 72 and he played 40 songs in 3 hours without ever taking a sip of water. Is he actually human? It cannot be confirmed. But who cares, because he is awesome on every level.
This was an article summarizing the event, and the writer does a great job, so if you’re interested in a play-by-play from an attendee, clicky click. Some of my own favorite moments included his tribute to John Lennon followed by ‘Blackbird’ on a rising platform on the stage, an audience sing-a-long to ‘Hey Jude’, and a flabbergasting firework show during ‘Live and Let Die’, to name only a few.
Long live Sir Paul.
