Some Cups of Jo(e)

I’ve been browsing the Cup of Jo blog quite a bit lately, and she posted a link to a pretty interesting article about how perhaps the very beginning of the morning isn’t the best time for your cup of coffee. It’s better to wait until between 9:30a-11:00a, when your cortisol levels are dipping, to start sipping that sweet caffeine. The purpose is to wait until your body’s natural wake-up chemical starts to bow out to bring in reinforcements. Pretty cool.

  1. I saw this too but I don’t like it lol. Although maybe that’s why I end up drinking way more coffee, since I come in, have one cup, then have another at the cortisol level dip.
